Plane Transporting Pete Hegseth Forced to Touch Down in UK Due to Crack in Windshield

A jet ferrying the US defense secretary was required to make an emergency landing in the UK on Wednesday due to a fissure was found in the jet's front window, according to an official announcement which verified that all passengers were secure.

"The jet touched down in accordance with standard protocol and everyone onboard, including Defense Secretary Hegseth, is unharmed," an official representative commented in a public statement.

The secretary was coming back from a quick journey to the Belgian capital during the flight.

This event is not the first time that a United States armed forces jet carrying a senior official has suffered equipment failures.

Earlier this year, a United States Air Force aircraft carrying Secretary of State Marco Rubio to Munich was compelled to turn back to the US capital after experiencing a technical issue.
